Honest inspection
We look at the car in proper lighting before touching it. Paint condition across all panels, paint thickness where relevant, surface contamination levels, material types in the interior, any existing damage that affects what's achievable. We tell you what we find — including things that aren't correctable.
Agree the scope
Based on the inspection, we agree exactly what we're doing. For paint correction and ceramic coating, the inspection outcome drives the scope. You won't pay for a full multi-stage correction if a single-stage is what the paint needs. And we won't apply a coating over paint that needs to be corrected first.
Decontamination
Every service starts with a proper wash and decontamination sequence. Snow foam, contact wash with pH-neutral shampoo, iron fallout remover, clay bar. The surface has to be clean before any corrective or protective work begins. Polishing a contaminated surface creates more defects. Coating contaminated paint produces a coating that doesn't bond correctly and doesn't last.
Corrective work (where needed)
Machine polishing to remove defects from the clear coat. Correct pad and compound for the paint type, work through the right stages, monitor paint thickness. This step only happens if the paint needs it — and if ceramic coating is the next step, it happens before, not after, the coating goes on.
Protection and treatment
Ceramic coating, sealant, wax, leather conditioner, UV sealant on restored headlights — whatever the service calls for, applied over correctly prepared surfaces. This is when the protection gets its chance to work properly.
Final inspection and handover
We check the finished work in proper lighting before handing the car back. Any area that couldn't be fully addressed — and why — is noted. We go through the aftercare requirements so you leave knowing exactly how to maintain the result.
Why the sequence matters
A ceramic coating applied over contaminated paint won't bond correctly and won't last the way it should. Machine polishing over contamination grinds particles into the surface, creating additional defects rather than removing existing ones. The order isn't a preference — it's what makes the result hold up.
